Our Club
The International English Speaking Club was founded in 1985 by Jeanne Benedict, an American who was living in La Chaux-de-Fonds at that time. Our aim is to provide is to provide activities for all ages and nationalities – in English, of course. We have a very full programme which includes a good variety of events: speakers from both England and Switzerland, coffee mornings, walks, family outings, barbecues, various suppers, book exchanges, sports and games evenings, etc, etc. There’s a meeting at least once a week, on various days.
